Small hardcover 1st edition published in 1938. Clean pages and no former owner marks. Purple cloth-covered boards show a tiny tear to front lower corner tip. Scarce.
Dust jacket is not price clipped and shows tears to the corner tips and spine edges as well as a long tape-repaired tear to 1/2 of the length of the spine and about 1/2 the width of the rear panel (the tape is on inside of DJ). Rear also shows some soiling and creasing and a 3/4" tear to upper corner. With 6 Engravings by Helen Binyon.
