Hardcover first edition, first printing, Viking Studio, 1964. Tipped in check to front free end paper. The check was written to Henry Miller by Robert Young Jr in 1954 and is endorsed by Miller on the back. Also, two other signatures to the back of the check: Paul Clemons and (illegible). Internally, the pages are clean and white with no former owner or other marks. Cloth binding shows light bumping to corners of front board.
Dust jacket is not price clipped and colors are vibrant. A few tiny closed tears to front upper edge, minor creasing and a 1/4" closed tear to rear upper edge. Light age toning in places to edges.
