San Francisco, CA: Book Club of California, Grabhorn Press, 1937. Daniel Wadsworth Coit. Limited Edition. Hardcover.

Printed by the Grabhorn Press for the Book Club of California. Limited to 325 copies. Former owner, Carl E. Melugin, a noted collector and past member of the Book Club of California, has written his name and date of Dec 23,1937 on the front free end paper - no other marks.

There are numerous items laid in: 1) Quarterly newsletter of the Book Club of CA from September 1937. Age toned. 2) large announcement of the book's publication with specs. Some tearing and age toning to this document. 3) What appears to be a pen and ink drawing of San Francisco on stiff paper with age-toned tissue protector. No signature, but there's a piece of paper from the Christian Science Monitor on the rear with some info (shown in last photo). 4) A 3-sheet typewritten poem by Fred Emerson Brooks copyright 1915, Paul Elder & Co., San Francisco.

Binding of book: front board shows light age toning to 3 edges and a 1/2" tear to the paper to upper edge. Rear board shows a couple of very hard to see, light scuff marks. Cloth spine is excellent. Very good condition.
