It is limited to 350 copies printed on special paper, specially bound, numbered, and signed by the author. This is #256. There are two small, thin marks to lower left of the page on which Updike has signed - they are about 1/4" long (please see photo). Otherwise, pages are flawless and there are no former owner or other marks. Blemish-free binding is 3/4 buckram over cloth with gilt titles to spine. Navy blue topstain and decorative end papers. Near Fine condition.
Dust jacket is crisp and free of creases, tears and fading. There's a tiny, round spot to front lower edge about the size of the tip of a pen. No other issues. Very good+
Decorative paper-covered slipcase shows light age-toning to edges.
